Easy Travel (Leeds) Ltd a History
Marvin Hurst & Jason Pearce have worked closely together for the past 18 years. In 2001 they decided to form a partnership and Easy Travel was born. They started with just one minibus between them but, through hard work and determination were considered suitable by Leeds City Council to operate SEN (Special Educational Needs) transport. Through prudent management Easy Travel began to grow and was formed into a limited company in 2004. The expansion continues and with good investment and business decisions, now operate a fleet of 80 vehicles and employ over 90 staff. Easy Travel has its own garage and employs a team of mechanics and fitters who provide servicing and repairs and alterations not only for its own vehicles but to other bus and taxi companies throughout Leeds.
Easy Travel believes in good quality training and is proud of the fact that many of its drivers have NVQ level 2 qualifications in Road Passenger Transport, All Drivers and Passenger Assistants hold an Accessible MiDAS or PATs certificate, they have also attended training in Safeguarding and Emergency First Aid and most have attended the People 1st Enhanced Passenger Assistance Course.
Easy Travel set up a training arm and now employs a dedicated Learning & Development Manager who has developed and is continuing to develop, training services both in house and to the wider community. We provide PCV training to the Local Authority, Local Schools & Colleges and other private companies.  We also provide low cost MiDAS & PATs training to local charities and voluntary organisations.
